Madelynn danced this week at the nursing home. She did great! I am so proud of her.

Cartoon cupcakes.
I ordered Ava some cupcakes for her school party. They came out pretty interesting. I got one smashed one too. That didn't make me too happy. I think they look like cartoon cupcakes. lol.

Ava's dance recital.
Ava had a dance recital at a nursing home tonight. I think this is so nice of them to do. Well, except the guy standing next to me. He stood right in front of a woman in a wheel chair, so she could not see. It made me so mad! How rude can someone be?
There are two videos here.

Puppy
This is hard. She doesn't seem to like to sleep at night. Hopefully this gets better soon. Travis and I are on our last nerve.

The cat is out of the bag. . .
or the puppy, I guess. lol. We got Ava a puppy for her birthday. Her name is Roxy and she's a lab mostly we think. We thought Puddin' needed someone to keep her company when she is outside and someone had these outside of Walmart, so we got one. We took her to the vet the other day and they said she's only 5 weeks old. That would probably explain the whining she's been doing all night long in her kennel.
Here are some pictures.

I'm tired.
We had a busy weekend! I thought weekends were for resting! lol.
Friday Travis didn't get home from work until 9:30. Travis had seen our friend Dean at the gas station that day and he was having a party and wanted us to come over. Sierra babysat and we headed over about 10. We had a good time. We played Guitar Hero most of the night. I'd never played it before. I tried the guitar and failed miserably, so I took up the singing instead. lol. Fun game, we're going to have to buy it someday. I think the kids would like it. Ava would be good at drums I think. We ended up not getting home until about 3 in the morning.
Saturday Travis got called into work at 9, so I spent the day hanging out with the kids. At about 5 Kim called and said something about being stuck and they needed us to come get them. So we headed out. Turns out they were 4 wheeling with their friends and couldn't get back the way they came. Us girls (me, Kim, and Savannah) and the kids went back to their vehicles and looking for keys while the boys played a little bit. Did I mention Savannah and Justin lost their only car keys? The three of us girls managed to get their trailer hooked to Kim and Jared's truck. Kim and Savannah took off to get ramps to load the 4 wheelers, since they were locked in the car with no keys, and my girls and I headed home to get some tie downs. I got back and Jared had went off on the 4 wheeler looking for the keys again and Travis and Justin were freezing waiting for us. Kim and Savannah got back and had forgot the ramps, but they managed to load them up. lol. We headed home and the rest of them went out looking for the keys again. They never did find them. The most funny thing happened to us at the store yesterday regarding keys. Travis shut the door and something fell off the Tahoe. It was one of those magnetic key things for a spare key. In it was a spare for our Tahoe. We didn't even know it was on it! Kim has more on her blog about this. They looked all day yesterday too. Candi had called and said she wanted to come over, so we had another late night of cards with her and the Patterson's.
Sunday we just planned on hanging out at home and watching the Superbowl, but Dean and Lee called at 2 and invited us over, and Dean's parents, Dean and Diana were going to be there, so I wanted to go. We haven't seen Diana since she had her heart surgery. It was a nice relaxing night and most of them are from PA, so they were glad to see the Steelers win. I liked the commercials. :)
Thirteen days until I have a 7 year old and 23 until I have a 5 year old! They are excited.
